The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned that they have a ‘potential risk of cardiovascular events’ when they take Generic Viagra (Sildenafil) for ED. In a letter posted at the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the agency said the safety information was being used in the UK to inform UK health officials about the potentially fatal cardiovascular event.

The MHRA said the agency had received reports of heart attacks and strokes linked to the use of generic Viagra. It said the agency had not identified cases of serious cardiovascular events, including heart attack or stroke, that have been associated with the use of this drug.
